Standard Call Centre processing

For merchants that wish to retain cardholder data on their own systems, UPG offer you fast IP connectivity for transferring mail order and telephone transactions to the various acquiring banks.
UPG offers real-time card processing – authorisation only, simultaneous authorisation and settlement and settlement only. Connectivity to UPG is via leased-line, point-to-point ADSL or Secure Internet. UPG also operates a point-to-point ADSL or leased-line batch processing system.
UPG gives the merchant total flexibility in the way that they create their payment solution, providing access to every possible facility available with cards.

UPG understand that data security is paramount to you. We have therefore designed a quick and easy method that allows you to take Call Centre transactions without you ever having to store card data on your systems. The UPG PCI:DSS Total Outsourced Solution for Call Centres provides you with a dedicated web server that is hosted within UPG’s secure data centre. UPG will produce a customer branded input page for use with the servers. At the point when a cardholder wishes to “pay”, your Call Centre input screens will simply re-direct to the UPG servers where the card data is input, authorisation sought and a transaction response generated. At no time will card data be passed to your systems providing you with complete peace of mind.
