UPG ready for new MasterCard Debit Card Program

MasterCard Worldwide are introducing a new Debit MasterCard branded card program, complementing the UK Domestic Maestro program.

The new program, Debit MasterCard, will be made available to UK customers within the next few months and UPG are assisting clients with the implementation of changes must before the 1st August 2008 deadline.

Debit MasterCard will be issued on a specific UK MasterCard BIN range and can be used for all standard purchase, including Purchase with Cashback and refund transactions at the POS. It can also be used over the Internet in the same manner as other MasterCard (with or without MasterCard SecureCode authentication). Debit MasterCard can also be used for MOTO transactions in the same manner as other MasterCard.
